About Nectar Nectar is a marketing agency that provides account management and creative services for established consumer products brands. Nectar primarily works with brands to scale their sales on third-party marketplaces like Amazon. Nectar also develops websites for its clients and manages their paid social and search along with their email marketing. In addition to marketing and services, Nectar has its own analytics platform, iDerive, which it uses to manage its clients’ businesses and sells as a stand‑alone platform. Role Overview The B2B Marketing Owner is the central driver and accountable party for Nectar’s entire B2B marketing engine, reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer. The primary objective is to drive awareness and highly qualified demand for Nectar’s marketplace services by constructing a repeatable, high‑velocity content and proof system. This includes owning the strategic framework for all client‑facing assets—specifically Case Studies, Guides, Testimonials, and Webinars—and being fully accountable for their execution and distribution. A major component of this role is the ownership of the LinkedIn Paid Strategy, which serves as the primary acquisition channel, requiring the continuous development of segmentation, creative testing, and rigorous performance optimization. This is a demanding, hands‑on operator role that requires significant autonomy and technical fluency. The successful candidate must possess a minimum of five years of B2B service marketing experience, complemented by the ability to personally execute technical updates: making direct edits to key conversion pages in Webflow, assembling simple creative variants in Figma, and maintaining disciplined reporting within HubSpot and Google Analytics. They are expected to bridge the gap between high‑level strategy and granular execution, managing internal and external creative resources while ensuring a fast, streamlined approval process to maintain high shipping velocity and alignment with Nectar’s strategic growth goals. Key Responsibilities Establish Repeatable Production: Build and run a standardized pipeline for all proof and authority assets: Case Studies, Guides, Testimonials, and Webinars. Asset Creation & Execution: Drive production end‑to‑end, including writing copy drafts and assembling content when needed (self‑production) to maintain high velocity. Gap Analysis & Messaging: Identify critical content library and ad portfolio gaps (e.g., missing case studies for priority offers). Translate business objectives into clear, compelling messaging frameworks. Client Engagement: Conduct professional client testimonial interviews to capture valuable proof points. Primary Acquisition Ownership: Own the strategy, launch, and optimization of LinkedIn paid campaigns to grow awareness and qualified demand. Rigorous Experimentation: Develop detailed audience segmentation and creative angle libraries. Test continuously and maintain a disciplined experiment log for weekly iterations. Conversion Flow: Implement targeted retargeting and align lead capture paths with landing pages and HubSpot workflows. Direct Webflow Ownership: Own key pages (Services, Case Studies, Guides, Landing Pages) and execute small edits directly in Webflow to ensure high velocity. Design Collaboration: Utilize basic Figma proficiency to edit and assemble simple layouts and rapidly create creative variants for testing. External Coordination: Coordinate larger Webflow builds and development projects with the external dev agency. System Integrity: Operate within existing HubSpot definitions and ensure clean lead capture, routing, and follow‑up workflows are functioning correctly. Reporting & Insight: Report weekly on leading indicators and channel performance. Provide monthly insight reports that drive strategic decision‑making. Resource Management: Coordinate effectively with internal creative/copy resources and external freelancers. Workflow Acceleration: Build a simple, reliable process that minimizes back‑and‑forth and accelerates shipping speed. Approval Management: Ensure all external messaging receives final approval from the CSO (Chief Strategy Officer). Qualifications Experience: 5+ years in B2B marketing, ideally in an agency or B2B services environment. Basic Webflow proficiency (able to make page updates and publish changes). Basic Figma proficiency (able to edit and assemble simple layouts, collaborate with designers). Comfortable operating in HubSpot and LinkedIn Ads. Content Expertise: Proven ability to build a content and proof engine that ships consistently. Communication: Very strong communication skills, necessary for conducting client testimonial interviews. Strategic Knowledge: Deep understanding of B2B buyer journeys and strong conversion instincts for landing pages and website content. Mindset: Hands‑on operator mindset (able to write and self‑produce when needed); self‑directed and proactive (identifies what’s missing and drives the solution). Experience marketing agency services related to Amazon or marketplaces. Experience building content strategies from scratch or leading rebrands/repositioning efforts. Background in SEO content strategy or thought‑leadership programs. Experience in e‑commerce, Amazon or marketplace brands, or B2B SaaS. Portfolio or examples of campaigns and content led from strategy through execution, including examples where scrappy methods achieved results.
