Overview Data Engineer at CloudHesive – cloud consulting partner. Build data solutions in AWS, ingestion, analytics, ML, AI. Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, optimize cost & performance, deliver modern infrastructures and AI capabilities. What You'll Do Develop solutions using cutting‑edge AWS data technologies. Determine data sources, extraction methods, and build algorithms to simplify and enrich data for clients. Research different approaches to data storage and exploitation in AWS. Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions to solve problems. Monitor system performance metrics to risks/issues. Perform data analysis (exploratory, prescriptive, predictive). Build ETL pipelines in batch and real‑time for various types and sources of data. Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage comprehensive data solutions in AWS for consulting clients, covering ingestion, processing, transformation, analytics, ML, IA, ensuring quality, security, governance. Qualifications At least two years of experience in the role. Knowledge of ETL. Python proficiency. Hands‑on experience with AWS databases (RDS, RedShift, Aurora). SQL skills (MS‑SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc). Experience in an Agile environment. Validate and implement performance improvements and resource optimization with AWS dev teams. Experience with data streaming technologies (Kafka, MSK, Kinesis, MQ, SQS, etc). Intermediate/advanced English. Desirable Professional experience with AWS or other cloud offerings. AWS Cloud Practitioner. Hands‑on with AWS data services (Athena, Glue, EMR). Knowledge of PySpark. Data Warehouse knowledge. Data Lake design and implementation knowledge. Prompt engineering for generative AI. Lake House architecture knowledge. Experience with Delta Lake, Iceberg, Hudi. Infrastructure as Code experience (SAM, CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation).
