This is a remote, flexible, project-based opportunity, ideal for ophthalmologists who want to contribute to the future of AI in healthcare while maintaining clinical, academic, or research practice. This position is open to candidates located in Argentina. What you'll do Develop and answer complex, graduate-level questions related to ophthalmology, visual sciences, ocular pathology, diagnostics, and clinical management. Review and critique AI-generated responses for clinical accuracy, safety, and alignment with ophthalmology best practices and guidelines. Provide structured feedback to refine model reasoning and improve clinical decision-making in ophthalmology. Contribute insights on topics such as disease prevention, diagnostic imaging, surgical and medical treatments, visual rehabilitation, and patient care. Collaborate asynchronously with a global network of domain experts shaping AI for healthcare innovation. You are a good fit if you Hold a medical degree (MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent) with specialization or extensive experience in ophthalmology or related sub-specialties. Have clinical and/or academic experience diagnosing and treating ocular and visual conditions. Are confident in analyzing and explaining complex ophthalmic medical reasoning in clear, evidence-based terms. Have strong English proficiency (reading and writing) with minimal errors. Are analytical, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines independently. Are curious about AI and its impact on the future of ophthalmology and eye care. Are available to start soon and can commit 3–5 hours per week (up to 40 hours). Fully flexible: choose your hours and workload. Competitive pay: typically US$70–US$100 per hour, depending on expertise, project scope, and performance. Higher rates may be available for advanced qualifications (e.g., PhD).
