Hi there We are South and our client is looking for a Video Editor Note to Applicants: Eligibility: This position is open to candidates residing in Latin America. While this is optional, candidates who provide a video presentation will be given priority. We’re looking for a full-time Video Editor with solid experience in post-production and a genuine interest in building a long‑term career in the field. Creativity matters—a lot—but this role also demands strong organizational discipline and the ability to follow structured workflows. We’re looking for someone who can blend storytelling with methodical execution. About the Role You’ll be responsible for editing complete video projects, with a strong focus on interview‑based content enhanced through intentional use of B‑roll. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys exploring creative possibilities while maintaining a highly structured and consistent editing process. Key Responsibilities Edit long‑form video projects based on interviews and conversations, using B‑roll to strengthen the narrative. Source and select appropriate stock footage to support and elevate storytelling. Collaborate with the creative team, contributing ideas while remaining receptive to feedback. Follow established editing systems and workflows, keeping projects highly organized from start to finish. Ensure consistency and quality across deliverables and platforms. Apply revisions promptly and proactively. Work effectively both independently and within a remote team environment. Required Skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro (knowledge of After Effects is a plus). Previous experience in agency or production environments (advertising, content creation, etc.). Demonstrated ability to deliver complete, end‑to‑end video projects (reels alone do not qualify). Strong experience editing interview‑driven formats with B‑roll integration. Comfort sourcing stock footage and building visual narratives. Familiarity with YouTube formatting or digital content best practices. Excellent communication skills in English. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience as an Assistant Editor, showing strong organizational discipline. Experience editing sports documentaries, branded content, or testimonial‑style storytelling.
