You will play a key role building payment systems that move money across Latin America in milliseconds. We process XXM+ transactions monthly. Your code will directly impact millions of users making cross‑border payments easier. Qualifications 5+ years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer. Strong experience in system architecture and solution design. Proven experience in the Fintech industry or with payment systems, wallets, or transactional platforms. Strong Java skills. Experience working with Kafka for real‑time event processing. Strong understanding of MySQL and Redis, handling heavy traffic. Familiarity with AWS infrastructure that never sleeps. Effective communication skills: concise, clear, and to the point. Fluent in English (written and spoken B2 or higher). Soft Skills That Make You Stand Out Resilient and adaptable in the face of ambiguity or change. Strong team player who can collaborate effectively across time zones. Fast thinker, proactive problem‑solver, and self‑starter. Able to maintain structure and clarity in unstructured or high‑pressure environments.
