The Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Program Management Office (PMO) and Testing Group at SoFi is part of the Controllership function and is responsible for ensuring internal control and assessment elements to meet SOX requirements. The PMO facilitates risk assessment and scoping to determine project scope for each reporting year, prepares the internal control assessment plan and timeline, and schedules walkthroughs for processes and controls. The Testing team conducts SOX management assessments, attending control walkthroughs and performing testing for in-scope systems and controls. The IT Testing team performs testing over IT General Controls, IT Automated Controls, Key Reports, and IT-related Entity Level Controls. The Sr. Analyst, SOX IT Testing PMO will work within this framework to help execute testing, advise lines of business, participate in walkthroughs, manage follow-ups with control owners, and identify opportunities for testing and automation. What you’ll do Execute IT control testing and assessments of control design and operating effectiveness, including remediation testing where applicable Document and raise identified deficiencies and key observations/recommendations with the SOX PMO and Management as appropriate Act as subject matter expert in SOX testing Build and maintain ongoing relationships with the lines of business within the SOX process as a trusted advisor Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, company policies and procedures, and complete required training Support other assignments and ad hoc matters as required What you’ll need Education: Bachelor’s Degree 5+ years of IT SOX related testing experience CPA and CIA/CISA or equivalent required Knowledge of IT SOX, ICFR, COSO; baseline understanding of business process controls Experience with ITSOX testing, ITGCs, ITACs and Key Report Testing Proficiency in SQL, Python, and experience with Tableau and Alteryx Strong integrity, analytical and strategic thinking; ability to navigate in ambiguity Excellent communication and collaboration skills; proven ability to work cross-functionally Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Nice to have Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred FinTech, banking or financial services experience focused on IT SOX or ICFR controls consulting Why you’ll love working here Leading-edge digital banking platform Valuing talent and opportunities for growth Collaborative working environment and continuous improvement Our benefits include Competitive health insurance plans Flexible paid time off (PTO) English and Portuguese lessons, if desired Apply for this job * indicates a required field #J-18808-Ljbffr
