Company Overview JAS is an international, non‑asset‑based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services. Key Responsibilities Intercept shipping orders, key orders into system, conduct follow‑up to requestors/customers/foreign JAS offices. Serve as the primary contact for any customer and handle communication between various departments and customers. Monitor operational duties, ensuring growth of volumes and GP and cross‑selling initiatives. Process orders for shipment received from customer or foreign JAS offices. Compile, sort and verify accuracy of data to be entered. Examine records such as bills of lading and related documents, inform customers of unit prices, shipping dates, delays and additional information. Submit total cost for customer, record or file copy of orders. Drive sales and marketing intelligence/insights within assigned target. Acquire new traffic for import, export, and local services; post‑landing, customs clearance, and spot business opportunities. Drive new revenue streams through better execution of marketing & lead generation campaigns. Collaborate with operations clerk to expedite or trace missing/delayed shipments. Compile statistics and prepare accuracy data or M&S for target. Investigate overdue and damaged shipments or shortages for customers and/or carriers. Analyze complaints concerning billing or service, refer failures to designated departments, update customers timely. Provide backup support for all accounts within target. Key Qualifications Computer skills: Microsoft Office suite, Excel, and operational system (C1, Forward, etc.). Good written and verbal communication. Detail oriented; able to multitask and meet deadlines. Self‑motivated; work well in team and independently. Cross‑selling capabilities. Customer‑orientated. Follow‑up on pending issues and orders. Strong problem‑solving skills. Ability to establish priorities and multitask. Advanced English. Education and Experience Minimum of 2 (two) years’ experience in operations. Work Environment 100% performed in a climate‑controlled internal office environment under normal office conditions. Physically requires sitting, standing, walking, using hands and fingers, reaching, talking, hearing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching; lifting up to 25 pounds.
