The Patient Centered Solutions (PCS) team leads the industry in generating data to ensure that the patient voice is incorporated into the development and commercialization of medication and other drug/non‑drug interventions. We focus on understanding and meeting the needs of our clients – mostly life science/pharmaceutical companies – through the application of broad consulting expertise and technical scientific knowledge to design scientifically rigorous research. This research is broad and includes qualitative (e.g., interviews, focus groups), quantitative (clinical outcome assessments (COAs)/patient‑reported outcomes (PROs), preference research) and passive (digital health technology tools) approaches to understand patient, caregiver and healthcare professional experiences and expectations of disease and treatment. Role & Responsibilities The role-holder will need to be a committed individual, who combines high emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills. Administer assessments to participants in a clinical trial, or evaluate the quality of assessments performed by others and provide feedback regarding interview technique and scoring. Review scales administered by raters in a clinical trial to ensure that assessments are being conducted in a standardized manner to ensure data reliability. Evaluate the quality of assessments, conducting live interactions with raters to discuss assessment methodology, scoring technique, and to provide guidance, as necessary. Prepare case data for discussions with raters, ensuring relevant issues and scale items are ready for review. Complete rater interactions and assigned tasks as scheduled. Submit all documentation associated with assigned tasks in a timely manner. Participate in all orientation, training, and calibration activities as required. Conduct functional assessments of rater performance (e.g., mock interview) and assist in preparing and disseminating communications. Contact clinical trial participants remotely to administer assessments and document resultant information. Qualifications Minimum of a Master’s degree (MA/MS) in Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatric, Nursing or Social Work, or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience working with schizophrenia and major depressive disorder populations. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience administering psychiatric assessments including the PANSS to these populations. Clinical trials experience preferred. Advanced level of English.
