Join our team.**Your role at Clorox:**We are looking for an R&D Formula Developer - Scientist to join our team and drive the creation of innovative and high-performing product formulas that delight consumers and advance our cleaning technologies.**In this role, you will:*** Develop and redesign product formulas, incorporating new technologies and cleaner chemistries.* Lead and conduct formula and process testing, including stability, limit, performance, claim support, and sensorial evaluations.* Design and execute technical project plans based on defined scopes, conducting experimental work across lab, pilot plant, and manufacturing scales.* Work with a range of chemistries, including sodium hypochlorite, peroxide-based systems, quaternary ammonium compounds, and surfactant blends.* Design and perform manufacturing trials for new formulas or processes, identifying improvement opportunities and making recommendations.* Build and maintain formula specifications, ensuring alignment with quality, performance, and compliance standards.Additional Responsibilities:* Apply consumer insights and concepts to generate new pipeline ideas and strengthen ongoing projects.* Use scientific and engineering expertise to creatively solve problems and achieve impactful results, always keeping the consumer at the center.* Promote and ensure adherence to best practices within the technical function, leveraging both internal and external technologies to achieve business goals.* Mentor, train, and support the onboarding of new or less experienced team members, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing within and beyond R&D.LI#HYBRID**What we look for:****Years and Type of Experience*** 5+ years experience (in consumer goods industry preferential). Multinational Companies of CPG related to foods, drinks, home cleaning products, cosmetics, etc.* BS or MS in relevant science or engineering or equivalent experience* Experience in Process Development and flexibility to learn other capabilities such as formula development will be taken into consideration.**Skills and Abilities*** Fluent English skills, both written and oral.* Flexible with changes in project direction.* Strong leadership skills to expand technical expertise and solve constraints* Ability to work independently and implement multiple projects in a timely manner.* Excellent networking skills – interface with cross-functional groups at all levels.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to influence team members and peers.* Clarity of purpose and ability to interpret business needs and turn them into technical solutions using available technologies and creativity.* High motivation and proactivity in project execution/coordination.* Curiosity and interest in working with and for other cultures and ways of thinkings appreciating diversity.* Willingness and time availability to travel internationally.**Workplace type:**Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite**Our values-based culture connects to our purpose and empowers people to be their best, professionally and personally.
