Lead Python Full-stack Software Engineer Become a key player in our agile Scrum team as a Lead Python Full-stack Software Engineer , handling both backend and frontend development tasks. Collaborate intimately with team members, engage in code reviews, and actively participate in all Scrum events to deliver superior software solutions. Responsibilities Handle backend and frontend development responsibilities Work closely with team members to enhance development workflows Conduct code reviews to uphold high-quality coding standards Take part in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to agile methods Identify and fix bugs and security issues efficiently Apply Infrastructure as Code techniques to manage AWS environments Maintain application accessibility best practices Build and sustain RESTful APIs consistent with SOLID principles Improve PostgreSQL database operations Support continuous integration and deployment activities Guide and mentor junior developers within the team Communicate effectively in a distributed team setup Rapidly adapt to emerging tools and technologies Requirements Extensive experience with Python and FastAPI, at least 3 years Advanced knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and services Proficient with PostgreSQL relational database systems Skilled in ReactJS and Next.js frontend frameworks Strong command of TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and RESTful API design Familiarity with software design patterns including SOLID principles Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments, minimum 2 years Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities Effective communication skills for team collaboration Ability to collaborate efficiently within distributed teams English language proficiency at B2 level or above Understanding of large language models (LLM) Nice to have Experience in fixing accessibility-related bugs Knowledge of WCAG 2.x accessibility standards Familiarity with CSS and SASS Basic understanding of AI and prompt engineering concepts We offer International projects with top brands Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers Employee financial programs Paid time off and sick leave Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses Global career opportunities Volunteer and community involvement opportunities EPAM Employee Groups Award-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn #J-18808-Ljbffr
