Cloud Security Specialist, Professional Services Amazon Web Services Argentina Key Responsibilities Hands‑on delivery experience with security devices/systems including firewalls, IPS/IDS, SIEM, WAF, PKI, strong cryptography, malware detection, authentication and authorization protocols. Hands‑on experience with secure networking design concepts, services such as DNS, HTTPS, and TLS, and securing software‑defined systems. Experience with incident response, including understanding malware such as worms, viruses, and trojans and their countermeasures. Some level of programming/scripting knowledge: Java, ASP.NET, Perl, Python, Ruby, Shell scripting, etc. Experience with technical audit activity to ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ITSG‑33, SOC1/SOC2). You’ll have the opportunity to create new security experiences and environments for our customers, covering strategy & risk management, building & deploying security infrastructure, or automating security operations—and beyond. This is a customer‑facing role, requiring travel to client locations to deliver professional services when needed. Additional Responsibilities Hands‑on experience with Cloud security architecture. Proficiency in the DevOps style of software deployment. AWS Associate certification, with the ability to obtain Professional level certification within three months of hire. Experience managing the security implications of migrations from on‑premise or mainframe to the cloud. Design and implementation of security controls.
