About the Role Grade Level (for internal use) : 11 Project Manager, Transformation (S&P Global Commodity Insights) The Role: Project Manager, Transformation As a Project Manager within the Transformation team in the Business Operations group you will play a pivotal role in helping with project management activities on ongoing initiatives that have a strong focus on operational excellence and business profitability. The Impact This is a critical role supporting a key strategic initiative ‘Achieve’ for Commodity Insights division, which forms a key pillar of our Transformation strategy. Your role will be to help the core program team with key program initiation, planning and execution activities, including creating relevant branding and communication materials, regular tracking and reporting of program health as per guidance from the program team. The Team The Transformation team on CI is a part of the Business Operations group. It is responsible to partner with CI business lines enabling them to unlock value via Business Enablement services and Operational Excellence programs to achieve greater profitability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Driving project initiation, planning, execution and closure activities. Driving and supervising lean/six sigma activities across various business lines and ensure delivery against targets and timelines. Establishing and maintaining communications within the program management office stakeholders and other key stakeholder groups. Coordinating and setting up stakeholder meetings and other communication channels like Sharepoint and Teams for collaboration between various program workstreams. Supporting program leads in tracking tasks and key milestones in internal tracking tools. Coordinating with the program team and ensuring that they have the tools required for delivering the project on time. Regular project tracking and sharing timely updates with stakeholders. Partnering with Content SMEs, Tech, Biz Ops and People to drive adoption of end-to-end future state solution. Role Requirements Graduate or a post-graduate in any discipline. 3+ years of project management experience with a proven track record of leading and/or collaborating with large stakeholder groups within complex global matrix structures and operations. PMP or equivalent PM certification is a key requirement. Knowledge of Agile, Lean & Six Sigma methodologies is a must. Related certification will be desirable. Familiarity and experience working on AI and GenAI projects is desirable.Ability to drive initiatives independently with minimal supervision while creating visibility on project status by keeping stakeholders informed. Ability to work well in a diverse workplace environment and proven ability to influence others to achieve positive outcomes. Aptitude for continuous learning and ability to adapt to change. Strong data analysis, visualization, and presentation skills to identify improvement opportunities and solve business problems. Strong organizational, written and spoken communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels. Strong skills in using Excel, PPT, Smartsheet and Tableau for project tracking, reporting and creating presentations. Should be flexible working late or early shifts when required as the program team is spread across UK, US and India. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Computer Science or business management. Knowledge of MS Suite, Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, BI or Python. Knowledge of SAFe/Agile methodologies and related certification. Knowledge and experience of working with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps for backlogs/user stories management.
