Role Overview Full-time remote role crafting direct-response-style videos that captivate and convert. Strong editing background in eCommerce and performance marketing required. Key Responsibilities Edit Direct Response Videos: produce engaging edits for VSLs, UGC ads, and short-form content. Source & Integrate B‑Roll: find high-quality footage to enhance storytelling. Create Iterations of Winning Ads: rework top-performing creatives into new variations. Follow High‑Converting Editing Principles: pacing, structure, hooks, calls to action to maximize engagement. Maintain Visual Consistency & Brand Quality: adhere to brand style guidelines. Collaborate with Creative & Strategy Teams: work closely with strategists, marketers, and designers. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Average Watch Time Number of Videos Edited per Week Total Minutes of Edited Content Delivered Weekly Required Skills & Qualifications Must‑Have Skills Proven experience editing for direct response brands or performance marketing campaigns. Strong engagement‑driven editing techniques (pacing, storytelling, viewer retention). Expert‑level proficiency with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects. Ability to work with briefs and scripts to bring concepts to life. Attention to detail, excellent file organization and ability to meet tight deadlines. Nice‑to‑Have Skills Familiarity with AI tools for editing or asset sourcing. Experience creating for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other paid social platforms.
