Senior DevOps Engineer At Avenga we believe that human creativity empowers technology that matters. Based in Latin America within the industrial industry, you will join our eCommerce development team designing, automating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines in AWS to ensure high availability, security, and scalability. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Automate infrastructure and application deployment processes. Manage and optimize AWS cloud services to ensure performance, scalability, and security. Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle. Monitor and enhance system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. Support and guide teams in infrastructure decisions and automation improvements. Qualifications 5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role. Strong experience managing AWS services including Lambda, RDS, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, SES, IAM, S3, EC2, ECS, Secret Manager, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, CloudFront, CloudWatch, API Gateway, WAF, OpenSearch, DynamoDB, Redis, Route53, and Step Functions. Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation (mandatory). Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and working with GitHub Actions. Hands‑on experience with SonarCloud for static code analysis. Proficiency in Python and Node.js for operational automation and scripting. Knowledge of SQL and transactional database management. Strong communication skills, self‑management, and proactive problem‑solving. Nice‑to‑have skills Experience deploying offline mobile applications. Knowledge of NoSQL and embedded databases. Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization practices.
