We are looking for a Data Architect to join a high-impact AI initiative that involves IoT devices, multimodal data sources, and large-scale data processing. This position requires a senior professional who can lead architectural decisions from day one. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary engineering team to design the data architecture, define ingestion strategies, and establish the technical roadmap for the entire project. Both Data Architects and Senior Data Engineers with strong architectural experience are encouraged to apply. Responsabilities Design end-to-end architectures for multimodal data (video, LiDAR, time series, simulation, text, metadata). Define standardized schemas, metadata models, and data contracts to ensure consistent ingestion and interoperability. Architect scalable storage layers (cloud / on-prem / hybrid) with clear strategies for versioning, lineage, indexing, and lifecycle management. Build frameworks for high-throughput data pipelines and reliable batch ingestion from diverse data sources. Support data centralization across multiple devices and heterogeneous sources, including IoT environments. Collaborate with engineering teams to align technical decisions, standards, and practices. Experience: MUST HAVE Strong experience as a Data Architect or Senior Data Engineer with architectural responsibilities. Proven experience building and maintaining data pipelines (technology-agnostic). Deep knowledge of AWS as the primary cloud platform (required). Experience working with heterogeneous data sources, distributed systems, and IoT data flows. Generalist mindset with the ability to evaluate and propose the most suitable technologies.
