Become an EXpert as a Senior Fullstack Developer (PHP / Laravel + Shopify) At EX Squared LATAM , we connect top engineering talent across the region with innovative digital projects. We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer with strong experience in PHP / Laravel and Shopify to help build and maintain scalable, high-quality e-commerce solutions. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who is comfortable working across backend and frontend layers, with a strong focus on Shopify-based platforms and custom integrations. What You’ll Do Design, develop, and maintain backend services using PHP and Laravel . Build and customize Shopify themes and storefronts , leveraging Liquid and Shopify APIs. Integrate Shopify with backend services and third-party systems. Develop and maintain scalable, maintainable code following best software engineering practices. Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experiences. Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve performance across e-commerce applications. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards. What You’ll Bring 5+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack or Backend Developer. Strong, hands‑on experience with PHP and Laravel in production environments. Solid experience working with Shopify , including custom themes, Liquid templating, and API integrations. Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in the context of e-commerce applications. Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to code quality and maintainability. Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams and fast‑paced environments. Advanced English proficiency (C1) — able to collaborate with international teams. Nice to Have (Important): Experience with ReactJS for modern frontend development. Experience building or integrating services using NodeJS . Why Join EX Squared?
