Job Summary The Accounts Payable (AP) Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments across multiple entities. This position involves coding invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts, reconciling discrepancies, maintaining detailed financial records, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. Strong attention to detail, proficiency in financial systems, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Invoice Processing: Review and process a high volume of vendor invoices and payments across multiple locations and entities, ensuring compliance with company policies. Account Reconciliation: Request vendor account statements, perform reconciliations, and research and correct any discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records. Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors, agencies, and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and respond to inquiries promptly. Financial Reporting Support: Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes, including generating and distributing billing reports to stakeholders. Qualifications And Job Requirements Accounting Knowledge: 2–3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting, with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with financial software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Mediaocean, or Strata. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to effectively interact with vendors and internal teams. Organizational Abilities: Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
