Accounts Payable Specialist We have a great opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist to work within our Finance and Accounting Group at Accenture I&CP North Americas. Under general direction, this role will manage all AP transaction processing for multiple business units/regions across multiple states. Position Reports to: I&CP US Corporate Controller Duties & Responsibilities Assist in coordinating the AP month-end close process. Manage and maintain ERP system. Process all payments in accordance with approval requirements. Maintain and produce documentation required for audits. Explore how we can further automate AP processes to decrease the service level agreement (SLA) time, decrease manual error, and increase customer satisfaction. Develop and implement a sound control environment as it relates to cash disbursements. Issue disbursements and vouchers are posted and reconciled timely. Ability to manage high volume of AP vouchers and payments. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of prior experience in an Accounts Payable team is highly preferred. Highly proficient in computer software programs, such as an ERP and database systems; Deltek systems a plus (Vision, Vantage Point, Cost Point). Strong and proactive communication skills to ensure timely approvals are received and that company policy is followed. Strong attention to detail; this role should prioritize accuracy over speed. General accounting knowledge. Strong Excel skills and strong aptitude in developing, manipulating, and managing complex spreadsheets. Strong analytical, problem solving, and organization skills.
