We are looking for a Data Operations Specialist on the Client Operations team to handle the initial setup and automation of data file transfers as well as monitor data file transfer performance to proactively identify and resolve issues. In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following: Maintain a strong working knowledge of Virgin Pulse products. Maintain a strong working knowledge of Virgin Pulse data file transfer capabilities and protocols. Work with clients and vendors to setup, test and automate EFT connections. Document agreed upon requirements for all EFT connections. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with EFT connections in a timely manner. Monitor data file transfer performance to proactively identify file processing issues, file transfer errors and missing files. Communicate issues to the appropriate internal teams and/or external file contacts as needed. Respond to and resolve routine requests and questions. Develop, implement, and enhance processes to drive overall performance of file transfers. Perform additional duties as requested. Qualifications What you bring to the Virgin Pulse team: A multitude of positive attributes including: Bachelor's degree in Business/Statistics/Information Science, or equivalent, in related discipline. 3-5 years of professional work experience in data management, information systems. Willingness to learn new EFT and monitoring tools. Strong knowledge of MS Office suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project. Experience with GlobalScape, MOVEIt and AWS preferred. Core Skills, Competencies, and Characteristics Strong technical aptitude. Excellent interpersonal and writing skills. Strong organizational skills and detail orientation. Required to work cross‑functionally with co‑workers and with external channel partners. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills.
