Volunteer Communication Strategist Lead for Creation of Sustainable Fashion and Creative Economy with Animana & Hecho por Nosotros Hecho Por Nosotros invites you to apply for this volunteer lead position. About the Affiliated Organization Hecho por Nosotros (HxN) is a non‑governmental organization with consultative status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). We drive systemic change by harnessing the power of the creative economy to transform society and create a more sustainable future. We collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders—from micro and small enterprises to international partners—working to shift the creative industry toward greater sustainability and ethics. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance the visibility and reputation of the organization. Create and manage content for social media, websites, newsletters, and other communication channels. Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging with organizational goals. Monitor and analyze the performance of communication efforts, providing recommendations for improvement. Support in organizing and promoting events, campaigns, and other initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, partners, and stakeholders. Volunteer Logistics Estimated hours required per week: 15 Estimated duration of the project: 3–6 months Position is virtual (remote) Language Requirements English; Spanish Desired Skills And Experience Proven experience in strategic communication, public relations, or media management. Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities. Strong understanding of branding, digital communication, and social media strategy. Leadership and project management skills, with experience guiding small teams or volunteers. Ability to communicate complex sustainability concepts clearly and persuasively.
