About Edgar Allan
Edgar Allan is an award-winning Webflow Enterprise Partner agency working at the intersection of brand and performance. We help mid-market and enterprise businesses move from brand clarity to conversion. In the AI era, a strong brand is how you get found, understood, and chosen.
We're ~60 people working across the globe, with leadership in Atlanta, Georgia. Strategy, experience design, and technology work as one team. We have a front-row seat to the biggest shift in how brands compete in a decade, and we're building the practice, developing the frameworks, and doing the work in real time alongside our clients.
The Role:
You'll sit inside Experience Design, partner daily with Technology and Brand Strategy & Performance, and own the creative quality of the work from pitch and first concept to launch.
This is a heavily client-facing role. You'll spend a large share of your week with clients and prospects: building trust, presenting work, pitching new business, and standing behind your design decisions.
What You’ll Do:
Bring brands to life with ROI in mind
- Translate brand strategy into digital design systems, visual language, and interaction patterns that hold up across sites, campaigns, and product surfaces.
- Partner with Strategy & Performance to tie every major design decision to a business outcome (conversion, lead quality, engagement, retention, or brand lift): define success metrics before design starts, then read the data after launch and act on it.
Design AI-native
Contribute to
- Use generative and AI-assisted tools across the workflow: research synthesis, concepting, rich content and imagery exploration, variant generation, and prototyping, while knowing where human judgment, taste, and brand stewardship have to lead.
- Design experiences that include AI features (conversational interfaces, personalization, AI search and answers) and make them feel trustworthy and on-brand
Prototype and build with developers
- Work in tight loops with engineers and content strategists from day one: shared Figma libraries, design tokens, component specs, and working prototypes.
- Move from idea to clickable or coded experience using Figma, Webflow, and AI-assisted code tools.
- Use prototyping and motion (Figma prototyping, Jitter, or similar) to show clients how experiences move, respond, and feel.
- Understand modern web build well enough to design for it: responsive behavior, CMS structure, performance, and accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA).
Collaborate with clients to launch fast
- Lead client workshops, design reviews, and working sessions with confidence and clarity.
- Shape scope around a fast first launch, then a planned roadmap of improvements, rather than one big reveal.
- Set clients up to own and extend their sites after launch through clear systems, documentation, and training.
Build trust and represent the work
- Build credible, lasting relationships with client and prospect stakeholders, from marketing teams to C-suite, so they trust your judgment.
- Present in new-business pitches as part of the pitch team, shaping the creative approach and helping win the work.
- Present design concepts and progress to clients with clarity, connecting every direction to their brand and business goals.
- Defend design directions with conviction and evidence, handling pushback constructively while knowing when to adapt.
Lead the engagement
- Serve as the owner of quality for assigned client engagements, owning the relationship and design output from kickoff through launch and ongoing iteration, turning insights into next-phase recommendations and growth opportunities.
- In partnership with Operations & Delivery, own scope, timeline, and budget health, flagging risks and resolving them early before they could elevate.
- Run engagement rhythms by coordinating the cross-functional team (strategy, design, development, performance) so everyone is working toward the same outcomes.
Lead the design team
- Set creative direction, select the directions designers carry forward, and review their work through to production-ready design.
- Own the craft bar for design foundations: typography, grid and layout, color, hierarchy, and spacing.
- Set standards for design systems, file organization,
