OPEN POSITION: Teacher – History AEL is seeking a Bilingual Teacher for History, Geography, and Social Studies at the Secundario level, effective February 2026. The Teacher will work closely with the Principal, Assistant Principal, Director of Student Services, National Program Coordinator, and other faculty members to deliver a pedagogically innovative, multicultural learning experience. Education Bachelor’s degree in History (required); Master’s degree preferred. Valid teaching certification appropriate to the subject and grade levels. Languages Fluency in oral and written Spanish and English required. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in international or multicultural school settings. Experience teaching high school students, particularly in upper grades. Knowledge of the IB Programme preferred. Experience with curriculum design is preferred. Commitment to the Lincoln School Mission, Values, and Beliefs, with the ability to support the strategic direction of the school. Innovative classroom pedagogy and the ability to foster a multicultural learning environment. Preferred Skills and Experience Experience in teaching History, Geography, and Social Studies. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues. Competence in using educational technology and online learning platforms.
