Data Management Lead

Responsibility Drive vision and solution development, innovation across the data management Lead the end to end “Data as Service” product teams and help establish Agile/Value driven teams in each country Partner with other data functions and interact with Enterprise team to meet all engineering needs Communicate with country leaderships across the region to discuss business value needs, understand and drive enablement of business, manage difficult Own and drive key interactions with business and technology senior management, internal user groups and conduct internal and external research and analysis to define and develop delivery approach & roadmaps Manage and engage with all local and enterprise teams for end to end delivery Ability to summarize information for different stakeholders and drive decision making and final delivery Risk Management Identify, document, communicate and mitigate the risks and issues Team Management Trains various resources on the key capabilities required to stand up and manage data warehouses Improve team performance by building team cohesiveness, leading, mentoring, training, and motivating in order to facilitate cooperation, ensure efficiency and boost morale Leads and motivates team direct or non-direct reports, internal or vendor resources Effectively forecast, and manage budget aligned to product delivery Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills 12+ years of solutions development and delivery experience; digital transformation delivery lead for data programs on the cloud platforms 8+ years of leadership experience in delivery of enterprise scale technology programs Significant experience in building and establishing (not just maintenance) of data lakes, warehouses, operational data stores, analytical and reporting data marts, transactional warehouses, Data as a service, ETL/ELT Experience delivery soups to nuts data digital transformation program as a product team (build and operate) Possesses strong leadership and negotiation skills, problem solving, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, risk management Expert in driving delivery through collaboration in highly complex, matrixed environment Technical skills Expertise in establishing data hub in one of the cloud platforms and technologies: Azure platform (ADLS/ADF/Data Bricks and Cosmos DB) or other cloud platforms like GCP (Big Query, Big Table, Python, API, Kubernetese) or Snowflake, AWS/Redshift, Data bricks, etc. Building and Implementing data ingestion and curation process developed using Big data/Cloud data tools such as Azure (ADLS), GCP Big Query, Spark (Scala/python), Data bricks, Delta lake etc. Ingesting huge volumes data from various platforms for Reporting, Analytics, Data Supply, and Transactional (Operational data store and APIs) needs. Strong SQL knowledge and data analysis skills for data anomaly detection and data quality assurance Experience driving deliveries for APIs and Kubernetes in a go #J-18808-Ljbffr
