Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable solutions across identity management, authentication, encryption, and Kubernetes orchestration. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure the security and reliability of our systems. Key Responsibilities Kubernetes Orchestration Support development and deployment of containerized applications. Monitor and optimize Kubernetes clusters for performance and scalability. Enhance service availability across cloud and on‑premises environments. Authentication Develop and maintain authentication mechanisms, including MFA. Troubleshoot and resolve authentication issues. Provide guidance on IIoT device authentication and access policies. Stay current with authentication technologies and best practices. Certificate Management Manage the full lifecycle of digital certificates (issuance, renewal, revocation). Ensure secure storage and handling of certificates. Implement intermediate certificate authorities and support automation for certificate rotation. Encryption Implement and maintain encryption protocols to protect sensitive data. Manage encryption keys and ensure secure storage and access. Monitor and audit encryption processes for compliance and effectiveness. Identity Management Design and manage identity solutions for custom applications. Automate user provisioning, de‑provisioning, and access management. Ensure compliance with IAM policies. Operational Support Provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications and services. Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with development teams. Mentor and guide offshore support teams. Core Competencies Results Orientation: Strong focus on achieving goals, attention to detail, and critical thinking. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build effective relationships, communicate clearly, and foster collaboration. Adaptability: Comfortable with uncertainty, able to adjust strategies, and work independently under pressure. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 4+ years of experience in IT engineering with expertise in identity management, encryption, authentication, certificate management, and Kubernetes. Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation tools. Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills. Preferred Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), CISSP, or similar. Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, GitOps). Familiarity with microservices and containerization technologies.
