DevOps Engineer – Corporate Strategy (Hyperscalers / Enterprise Sizing & Estimation) ARGENTINA | LATAM HYBRID Job Details Salesforce is seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join the Corporate Strategy – Hyperscalers organization, supporting the build and operation of the Estimation-as-a-Service (EaaS) platform — a key enabler of Salesforce’s consumption-based business model. In this role, you’ll design, automate, and maintain the infrastructure and deployment pipelines that power mission-critical estimation services used across Salesforce products. You’ll work closely with software engineers, architects, and data teams to ensure our systems are secure, scalable, observable, and continuously improving. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain GitOps-driven CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable deployments across multiple environments. Implement and automate infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or similar frameworks. Ensure system reliability and observability through proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident response. Define and maintain SLA/SLOs for core estimation services. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment efficiency, scalability, and security posture. Manage configuration and networking for cloud environments (AWS preferred, GCP/Azure a plus). Participate in solution design discussions, bringing operational insights to architectural decisions. Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across network, system, and application layers. Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and process automation for consistent operations. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering roles. Proven expertise in AWS (EKS, EC2, IAM, S3, VPC, Route53, CloudWatch, SQS). Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, HTTP). Strong scripting experience in Bash and at least one higher-level language (Python, Go, or Node.js). Experience implementing IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or equivalent). Practical experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Hands‑on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar). Familiarity with Unix/Linux administration, process management, and security hardening. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to incident management. Excellent communication and documentation habits — able to clearly explain systems, tradeoffs, and impact. Preferred Skills (Non-Exclusive) Experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure). Familiarity with web server configuration (Nginx, Apache, Tomcat). Exposure to observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, ELK). Programming proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Go, JavaScript, or C-family languages. Experience with zero-downtime deployments, canary releases, and automated rollback mechanisms.
