The GFSS Ariba Network Operations team is looking for a Finance Operations Specialist to facilitate day to day collections for the Supplier Membership Program of the Ariba Network. Through a single connection, the Ariba Network provides organizations with the capabilities they need to ensure seamless transactions, strengthen existing buyer-supplier relationships, find new business opportunities, and generate bottom-line savings—allowing them to realize true e-Commerce success. The Ariba Supplier Membership Program (SMP) is a very strategic aspect of the Ariba Network. The Finance Operations Specialist assists in the collection aspects of the Ariba Supplier Membership Program, including Monitoring the invoices issued to the customers. Support and clarification of the customer queries. Check for differences in statements, bills and boletos using the company's tools. Executes operational (including transactional) tasks independently and deals with customers' queries. Gains a good knowledge of standard processes and related transactions. Maintains good relationship with external and internal customers. Operational (including transactional) task execution Preparation of period close Posting of journal entries Ensure accuracy in the financial records through proper execution of operational tasks, monitoring and Reporting Hotline and/ or Ticketing Support Cooperation and Communication with internal and external customers Preparation of process documentation / working instructions Supporting other team members as back up Support projects and/or Improvement activities Responsible for administration of customer contract which includes creation of customer information in SAP's systems, such as customer master data, creation of installations, customer contact information related to the booking of a contract, invoicing customers. Ensures timely and accurate customer billing. Analyzes pending billing and identifies potential quality issues Perform and control the blocking and unblocking of suppliers in the company's system. Evaluation of the portfolio in order to organize the daily activities, defining objectives to achieve the department goals. Negotiate open invoices, according to company guidelines. Resending invoices, boletos and statements to customers. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of related credit and collections experience Customer Service experience Bachelor’s Degree required Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) Strong Portuguese speaking capabilities Additional language capabilities depending upon requirements Preferred Knowledge and Experience Related Billing and Finance Sales experience or experience interacting with customers Experience using a customer relationship management tool (CRM tool) Knowledge of the procure to pay business process from purchase requisition to payment Attention to Detail Active Listening Oral and Written Communication Handling Objections Interpreting Information and Analysis Customer Focus Capability Positioning Intercultural Sensitivity IT Principles and Data Security Quality Focus Results-Driven Self-Development Teamwork and Collaboration Customer Focus Business Acumen Innovative Thinking We build breakthroughs together We win with inclusion SAP’s culture of inclusion, focus on health and well-being, and flexible working models help ensure that everyone - regardless of background - feels included and can run at their best.
