Overview The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) works backwards from our customer’s most complex and business‑critical problems to build and execute go‑to‑market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi‑billion‑dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist, and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you’ll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. We pride ourselves on thinking big, delivering exceptional results for our customers, and working across AWS as #OneTeam. AWS is looking for a Generative AI Solution Architect, who will be the subject‑matter expert (SME) for helping customers design solutions that leverage our Generative AI services. Key Responsibilities Thought Leadership – evangelize AWS AI/ML and GenAI services and share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, white‑papers, reference architectures, and public‑speaking events such as AWS Summit and AWS re:Invent. Partner with SAs, sales, business development, and the AI/ML service teams to accelerate customer adoption and provide guidance on their customer engagements. Act as a technical liaison between customers and the AWS SageMaker services teams to provide customer‑driven product improvement feedback. Customer Advisor – implement and deploy state‑of‑the‑art machine‑learning algorithms under Gen AI. Build prototypes, PoCs, and explore new solutions, interacting closely with customers and with the academic community. Lead and mentor a data science team, managing data pipelines and infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking. Stay active in the open‑source community (e.g., Hugging Face, Stable Diffusion) and work with large‑model pre‑training and fine‑tuning, including distributed training. Qualifications 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience. Experience managing data pipelines and lead/mentor data science teams. Active participation in the open‑source community, such as Hugging Face or Stable Diffusion. Large‑model pre‑training/fine‑tuning experience, familiar with distributed training.
