Better Collective is a leading sports betting media group with a mission to make sports entertainment more engaging and fun. 2 years of hands-on software engineering experience with React Native Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript 2 years of experience developing, deploying, and maintaining customer-facing mobile applications Willingness to work in and collaborate with distributed, remote teams Scrum – you know what it is and how it works Fluent in English, able to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely Comfortable learning from and collaborating with more senior engineers Your daily duties / We are looking for someone who Builds and maintains features in React Native for iOS and Android Implements UI components based on product and design specifications Integrates REST APIs and manages client-side state Fixes bugs and contributes to improving app quality and performance Participates in code reviews and follows established team standards Collaborates closely with product managers, designers, and QA partners Our expectations / What we’ll love about you You care about writing clean, readable, and maintainable code You are eager to learn and grow as a mobile engineer You take ownership of your work and follow through on tasks You communicate clearly and ask questions when something is unclear You enjoy working on consumer-facing products used at scale You are open to feedback and enjoy improving through collaboration Bonus points for You thrive in a busy and vibrant environment You are eager to learn and not afraid to ask questions or take on new challenges You are process-oriented and want to improve how things are built and shipped Experience with Expo, Redux, or other state management libraries URL to your public GitHub repositories on your resume
