Job Description The candidates will be part of the CISO team of a well known Spanish Bank and will be responsible for analyzing, validating, and reviewing firewall rule requests submitted by project and operations teams. Their primary role will be to ensure that the requested configurations comply with internal security policies, best practices, and defined architecture. Responsibilities Review and analyze firewall rule change requests (NAT, ACLs, L4/L7 filtering). Validate that the requested rules comply with corporate security policies. Verify the necessity and justification for the requested openings. Document approved rules and maintain their traceability. Participate in the continuous improvement of network security procedures. Collaborate with technical teams to resolve connectivity and security issues. Support internal or external audits regarding network security controls. Qualifications Technical Requirements Basic knowledge of networks and communications: TCP/IP, subnets, routing, VLANs. Basic knowledge of security or network management tools. Basic knowledge of information security: firewalls, segmentation, access control. Network analysis skills. Ability to interpret network diagrams. Basic knowledge of perimeter security (Firewalls, IPS, VPN). Languages: advanced proficiency in English and Spanish Preferred Familiarity with commercial firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, Cisco ASA). Knowledge of SIEM and/or ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.). Certifications or courses in networking or security (CCNA, Fortinet NSE1-3, etc.). Knowledge of Zero Trust or network segmentation.
