Responsible for quality, delivery, supplier performance and establishing appropriate material replenishment process. Coordinates and leads efforts to address chronic supplier performance issues. Main Responsibilities Execute, in a supply chain of medium complexity, planning activities within a defined framework/system that mainly affect own organization/unit. Carry out a range of supplier management activities either to support others or to fulfill the requirements of the role. Implement corrective actions or continuous improvement initiatives and monitor them to make sure they are effective. Contribute to reviewing existing operations in own area of work, and generate new ideas to assist in identifying continuous improvements and cost reduction opportunities. Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure. Resolve complex queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on policies and/or procedures, referring the most complex issues to others. Produce, update, and provide best practice support on complex Microsoft documents, databases, and other departmental systems, advising colleagues as needed and using expertise to help improve processes. Requirements Graduates or nearly graduates in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or similar field.
