Power Bi Analyst, Cybersecurity Analytics

Andworx is hiring aPower BIDevelopertodevelop visually pleasingandaccuratedatavisualizations, reports, and dashboardsforourfederalgovernment customer.As a candidate, you should be experienced withcollaborating as part of a teamin the advanced development ofrich data visualizationsusing Microsoft Power BI.

We are looking for ahands-ondoerwho enjoys working in afar-pacedcustomer focusedenvironment,who hasa background in data analysis and an eye for creatinggood lookingdashboards that tell storiesenablingdata driven decisionswhileplacing a high importance on user experience, usability, and design. You should be comfortableinteractingwith stakeholders to elicit requirements in an agile and iterative environmentto developbeautiful data visualizations.

Please Note: This positionhas a hybrid work schedule of 2 daysper weekon-site workwith our customer. Candidates must be withina commutabledistance to the Washington, DCmetro area.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8or moreyears of experiencecreatingreports, dashboards, and data visualizationswith 5 or more years specificallyusing Microsoft Power BI.
• Experienceingesting information, transforming data, and building relationships with data from various feeds.
• Experience presenting dashboardsand quantitative data to stakeholders and leadership.
• Comprehensiveexperience withrelational database architecture and navigating large data sets, querying sources such SQL Servers, SharePoint Lists, Excel Spreadsheets, 3rd party connectors,includingadvanced BI solutions with MicrosoftSQL Servertechnologies (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, etc.).
• Expertisewith ongoing maintenance andtroubleshootingof Power BI-driven reporting ecosystemsincluding query tuning.
• Strong analytical skills to collect, organize, analyze, anddisseminatedata and informationin the BI environmentwith attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational,interpersonaland relationship buildingskillswith excellentwrittenandverbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities or tasks.
• Bachelor's degree OR High School diploma plus 12years of relevant workexperience.
• Ability to successfullyobtain andmaintainaPosition of Trustbackground security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data modeling, cleansing, and transformationutilizingatoolsetincludingPower BI,SQL, or PowerQuery,R,Python,etc.
• Technical certifications related toMicrosoftPower BI, database design, or data analysis.
• Knowledge of Tableauorbroaderexperience withMicrosoftPower Platformis a nice to have(Power Automate, Power Apps).

Responsibilities

Show your passion for visual story telling using Microsoft Power BI byleveragingyourbusiness intelligence anddata analytics experience to construct visually pleasing, rich data visualizations.

• Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards, usingindustry best practices and standards.
• Identify, analyze, and translate business requirements and rules into intuitive analytical solutions, businessscorecardsand management dashboards.
• Work with a variety of stakeholders to easily visualize data from multiplesourcesin a single platformto aid inthedesign and development ofcomplex business solutions.
• Provide operational support forexistingPower BIdashboards and reports.
• Understand reporting databasemodels and schemasandperform data analysis.
• Connect tovariousdata sourcestoimportand transformdatainto Power BI.
• Collaborateinsolutioningeffortsin thePower BI environmentaddressingproblems,tuningfor performance,anddiagnosing issuestoresolveapplication bottlenecks and performance issues.
• Create written and visual data reports and analysis.
• Provide end-user training, technical demonstrations, and presentations to stakeholders.
