We emphasize asynchronous work and provide large chunks of uninterrupted time for deep work. You can read our internal communication guide here: What You Will Do Develop new computer‑vision pipelines for edge devices in real time. Train and fine‑tune models for use in our warehouses. Recollect and create new datasets for training and testing pipelines. Redefine ShipHero’s product Human/Device interfaces using classical and machine‑learning computer‑vision techniques. Requisites Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics degree or equivalent experience, with at least three years of professional practice with Python programming. Familiarity with deep‑learning platforms and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar. Experience customizing or fine‑tuning models for specific applications and deploying them into production. Familiarity with real‑time models such as YOLO, RT‑DETR, NanoSAM, or similar. Basic understanding of classical computer‑vision fundamentals. Experience working with cameras in real time. Familiarity with Linux operating systems. It Would Also Be Beneficial If You Have experience with C++ and CUDA. Have worked with embedded devices such as NVIDIA Jetson. Have an interest in robotics with professional or hobbyist experience.
