Payment Operations Specialist

Join our team as a Payment Operations Specialist and contribute to smooth student experiences across payment, loan, and documentation processes. What you will do Manage payments by verifying student details, approving loans, setting up payment schedules, and ensuring accurate accounting with partners. Enter and validate all student payments in TripleTen’s data warehouse, reconciling payments and monitoring new enrollments to keep accurate records. Oversee the loan approval process, monitor student progress, verify loan eligibility, and coordinate with other teams to collect necessary information. Process essential student documents such as enrollment agreements, transcripts of study, and suspension/termination notices. Provide internal support for other teams to resolve issues related to payments, refunds, and documentation, ensuring efficient operations. Address payment operations cases including sending payment links, adjusting schedules, facilitating program transfers, and resolving technical issues. Communicate with students about refunds, calculate refund amounts, and ensure all refunds are issued promptly and accurately. Monitor students’ recurring payment plans to keep them up to date, taking necessary actions for any students who fall behind. What we can offer you Compensation: $1200 + $200 KPI bonus gross per month. Full‑time remote collaboration, 5 days a week with weekend coverage (12:00 pm – 8:00 pm ET). Weekend work required. Strong analytical mindset and systemic thinking. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Notion, Slack, or similar tools, and comfort with numbers. Interest in the tech industry and understanding of IT product processes. Hard Skills At least 1 year of experience in IT. Experience building processes from scratch. Advanced English (written and spoken). Advanced level of Excel. Billing & invoicing systems. HelpDesk experience. Data management tools. Copywriting. Soft Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Adaptability and self‑organization. Optimization and problem‑solving expertise. Research skills and resource creation.
