Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Back End Engineer with Go for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina. You will be responsible for building web services and APIS, primarily with Go and MongoDB. You work as part of a small cross-functional team to deliver features on our roadmap and continually maintain and improve a specific product area. Requirements Experience working with server-side programming languages. Hands-on experience with Go. Knowledge of modern web services architectures. Expertise in building and maintaining automated test suites. Understanding how your work fits into the team and company objectives. Responsibilities Build, test, and maintain backend services and data storage. Debug production issues with services and data. Participate in technical design and planning discussions. Uphold standards for quality by performing code reviews, fixing bugs, creating automated tests, and monitoring performance. Adhere to all system operation policies, including but not limited to access control, encryption control, logging, change management, platform security, system configuration, physical, and incident management policies. Write high-quality code with automated test coverage (UT, E2E, Functional tests for controllers). Deliver work on well-communicated timelines. Write correct and clean code with guidance and consistently follow stated best practices. Prioritize tasks without getting caught up in unimportant details. Communicate assumptions and get clarification on tasks up front to minimize the need for rework. Solicit feedback from others, and give timely, helpful feedback to peers and managers. Provide compliance with Information Security Policies. Write and review code following Secure Coding Guidelines. Perform as an incident responder according to the Incident Response Policy.
