Lead Unreal Artist

Media.Monks is seeking a talented and experienced Lead Unreal Artist to lead our team of artists in the creation of visually stunning and immersive environments and assets for our Unreal-based projects. The Lead Unreal Artist will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of artists, while also working closely with other departments to ensure that the project's visual style and technical requirements are met. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of artists in the creation of environments and assets using Unreal Engine. Work on demanding projects for premium customers with the highest demands on quality and aesthetics, mainly in the automotive sector. Set up and optimize shaders and lighting in UE. Ensure the best visual and technical quality of your created assets and your team. Proactively support the development of our CG pipeline and workflows. Ensure the quality of the team's work meets or exceeds the studio's standards. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and continuous learning. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to team members to help them develop their skills and achieve their goals. Requirements At least 4 years of production experience, ideally in automotive visualization using Unreal Engine. Experience with PBR material development. Additional knowledge of scripting and experience in Unreal Blueprints is very welcome. Used to deal with complex CGI pipelines. Interest in high‑quality visualizations. Excellent communication skills and ability to give and receive feedback constructively. Proven ability to manage and mentor a team, meet deadlines, and work within technical constraints.
