Sr Technical Project Manager Syneos Health – Technology & Data Solutions (TDS) business unit Job Overview Sr Technical Project Manager supports our business goals by collaborating with our development and product teams to deliver customized product experiences to our clients. The role plays an essential part in driving enterprise‑wide adoption and change management for innovative tech & data solutions. Responsibilities Lead and manage end‑to‑end execution of complex technical projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgets. Serve as team leader overseeing project teams; lead groups of technical PMs and BAs on large, complex projects; facilitate team building and communication; act as liaison and facilitator between departments. Proactively monitor project resources and work with functional leads/management to ensure requirements are met and engage senior‑level stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans merging customer requirements with company goals; coordinate managers and technical personnel across all project phases. Lead and direct project sprints; establish and implement training processes and strategies. Provide senior‑level oversight and review of work by junior staff; mentor and train new project managers. Accountable for project objectives and key results by monitoring progress and providing detailed scheduled reports on milestones and deliverables. Understand project goals and methods for achieving them, providing necessary leadership. Review proposed modifications to project plans and arrange approvals with interested parties. Oversee acquisition of resources and materials as needed, coordinating with customers, team members, managers, and vendors. Analyze, plan, and develop requirements and standards for scheduled projects. Hold regular technical team meetings to track progress and address challenges. Define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for staff for specific projects or initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in project management. Experience implementing and enforcing agile methodologies, Scrum, or other project management procedures. Ability to work beyond one’s usual comfort zone and willingness to learn new technologies. Excellent problem‑solving skills. Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, vendors, and management. Highly proficient in facilitating collaboration between clients and internal teams. Highly organized, adept at refining existing processes and developing new ones. Ability to multitask and work in a cross‑functional team environment. Additional Information Tasks, duties, and responsibilities are not exhaustive.
