Safer Gambling and AML Risk Analyst - Argentina Job Description The Safer Gambling and AML Risk Analyst plays a pivotal role in safeguarding players and ensuring compliance with both responsible gambling and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations. The primary responsibility is to monitor and assess player activity for signs of gambling‑related harm or financial risks, using a risk‑based approach to take appropriate and proportionate actions. Your Responsibilities Handle live interactions with players exhibiting behaviors that indicate potential gambling‑related harm or AML concerns; provide support, gather information, and evaluate circumstances. Initiate and manage phone calls with players when live chat is not feasible, ensuring effective communication and empathetic resolution. Conduct account assessments for players that trigger responsible gambling or AML thresholds; analyze behavioral patterns, financial activity, and affordability indicators to identify risks and implement interventions. Perform open media searches to gather additional information about players being assessed, enhancing understanding and informing decisions. Support compliance efforts by accurately documenting assessments and actions, maintaining thorough records, and escalating cases when necessary. Collaborate with internal teams to share insights, develop strategies, and improve processes that promote safer gambling and regulatory compliance. Continuously update knowledge of the latest regulations, trends, and best practices in safer gambling and AML. What We’re Looking For Proficiency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus. Experience in Responsible Gambling or AML/CFT is a plus but not required; comprehensive training is provided. Ability to work shifts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Attention to detail in compliance assessments. Ability to adapt and multitask across assessments, live chats, and calls. Team spirit and collaboration within a shift of 6–8 analysts.
