Aftersales Manager

Position Title After-Sales Technical Specialist & Trainer Location: Argentina Reports To: After-Sales Director / Country Manager Position Objective Responsible for managing the automotive after-sales technical team and providing systematic training to ensure the dealer network and service teams possess the latest technical capabilities and service standards. The role aims to improve after-sales operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and brand reputation. Key Responsibilities After-Sales Technical Management Supervise and guide the technical operations of the after-sales service team and dealers, ensuring maintenance and repairs meet manufacturer standards. Analyze common technical issues, develop solutions and preventive measures to improve First Time Fix Rate (FTFR). Support the introduction and application of new models and technologies (electric, hybrid, smart connectivity) within the after-sales network. Training & Capability Building Develop and implement technical training programs, including training and certification for service advisors, repair technicians, and parts staff. Organize online and offline training sessions to ensure teams master the latest technical knowledge and operational standards. Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve course content and delivery methods. Process & Quality Management Establish and enforce after-sales technical processes and standards to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as repair efficiency, customer complaint rate, and service quality ratings. Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Cross-Department Coordination Collaborate with R&D, product, parts supply, and marketing teams to communicate technical information and customer feedback. Participate in after-sales support plans for new model launches and technical updates. Customer Support & Problem-Solving Participate in analyzing and resolving major technical issues and customer complaints. Provide after-sales technical consultation and assist dealers in resolving complex technical cases. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields; a relevant Master’s degree or MBA is preferred. Experience: At least 5 years in automotive after-sales technical support, technical training, or technical management. Skills: Proficient in automotive structure and principles, with fault diagnosis and troubleshooting capabilities; knowledge of electric/hybrid vehicle technology is a plus. Experience in developing, delivering, and organizing technical/service training courses. Familiar with automotive maintenance processes, diagnostic tools, and technical standards. Team management experience is preferred. Languages: Fluent Spanish; intermediate to advanced English preferred. Competencies: Strong problem-solving ability, communication skills, and cross-functional collaboration capability.
