Electrician Specialist – Novolex Corporation – Santa Fe, California / Santa Fe, Argentina Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA (also operations in Santa Fe, Argentina) Compensation: Starting rate of $36.51 - 43.87/hour – paid weekly Shift: 2nd shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Prescription drug coverage 401(k) with company match New Hire Wellness Bonus Healthcare and dependent day‑care flexible spending accounts Corporate discounts Responsibilities: Performs planned electrical maintenance on all equipment and machinery for the thermoforming process to ensure the integrity of electrical systems Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs/maintains all equipment and machinery for the thermoforming process including blenders, crystallizers, dryers, extruders, formers, trim presses, conveyors, and grinders Troubleshoots AC and DC drives and motors; PC and PLC controlled systems; heaters, thermocouples, and heat controllers; safety circuits Modifies new and existing equipment for performance improvements and upgrades Uses Maintenance Connection to record and close work orders accurately and in a timely manner Ensures housekeeping in area(s) of responsibility is safe, clean, and tidy Follows all company‑established rules and policies Adheres to all safety rules and regulations Analytical problem‑solving, project management; strong technical/functional skills; customer service; interpersonal skills; oral and written communications; teamwork; judgment; organization; mechanical aptitude; electrical aptitude; detail oriented Qualification: HS Diploma or equivalency 2‑year Electro‑Mechanical technical degree preferred 3-5 years related experience Knowledgeable in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, blueprint reading (mechanical/electrical); understanding of welding and fabrication Previous electrical experience with troubleshooting capabilities; previous mechanical experience with troubleshooting capabilities Knowledge of PLC and PC controls Preference for experience using Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Omron systems Must have own tools and be able to use them safely and effectively Ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential Flexibility to work overtime and off‑shifts as needed About Novolex: Pactiv Evergreen is now a part of Novolex.
