Location: Remote Contract Type: Contractor (USD) Senior Data Analyst at a company that helps game studios gain deeper insight into player behavior and in‑game economies through advanced data engineering and a custom analytics platform that is affordable, scalable and has no data volume limits. About the Role We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst with strong expertise in handling large datasets and turning complex information into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have expert‑level SQL skills and proven experience with Tableau, enabling product and business teams to make data‑driven decisions that optimize player behavior and game‑economy performance. Responsibilities Design, build, and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis. Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau. Analyze player behavior patterns and trends in digital economies. Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to define KPIs and identify opportunities. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across all processes. Document processes and promote data best practices. Requirements 5+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or in similar roles. Expert-level SQL knowledge (complex queries, window functions, stored procedures, performance tuning). Upper‑intermediate English proficiency. Strong Tableau experience building advanced dashboards and visualizations. Experience working with large and complex datasets. Excellent communication skills to present findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Nice to Have Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis. Experience with ETL and data pipelines. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Experience in digital platforms, gaming, or virtual economies.
