Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team at EPAM, a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and development services. This role requires a highly skilled individual capable of designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background in network architecture, cloud networking, and network security, along with excellent team collaboration and leadership skills. Responsibilities Design and implement network architecture for both on‑premises and cloud environments. Configure, operate, and automate IaaS networks including AWS and Azure. Monitor, log, and troubleshoot network issues to ensure optimal performance and connectivity. Manage network security measures to protect data and systems. Lead and mentor junior network engineers. Collaborate with various teams to ensure network alignment with business objectives. Drive technical design and end‑to‑end implementation of network projects. Use tools such as Splunk and Datadog for network monitoring and analysis. Communicate network status and changes to internal stakeholders. Maintain documentation on network configurations and procedures. Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for enhancements. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Participate in on‑call rotation for network support. Conduct root‑cause analysis on network incidents and provide solutions. Implement network policies and processes to optimize organizational efficiency. Requirements Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer. Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP, CCIE, AWS Professional, AWS Network Specialty). Experience in at least two multi‑quarter projects. Contributions to the engineering community (e.g., blog posts, open source contributions, tech talks). Expertise in configuring and operating cloud IaaS networks (AWS, Azure, GCP). Skills in routing protocols (OSPF, MPBGP, ISIS, MPLS). Knowledge of network models (SNMP, NetFlow, IPFIX, Netconf, Restconf, gRPC). Strong experience in network monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in network security protocols and best practices. Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level. Nice to Have Experience with network monitoring tools such as Splunk and Datadog. Active participation in tech talks or similar community contributions.
