Lead Data Visualization Engineer

Responsibilities Lead and/or participate in the effort to define and deliver the strategy and architecture for IT services, products, and capabilities for analytical front‑end reporting suite using tools such as Power BI. Accountable for providing the front‑end analytical reporting design / BI Reporting Strategy, including detailed configuration that considers how to structure a segment solution based on business, global and regional views, as well as the design of standard software configurations. Deliver front‑end solution designs including user story, required measures, comparative analytics, recommended tool selection, visualization and guided analytical design. Collaborate in design reviews and recommend new standards for visualizations; conceptualize and design the best fit solution against the requirements. Provide detailed build estimates to the Solution Architect for front‑end development. Design, develop and deploy performance analytics and visualization standards that provide outstanding performance and experience for self‑service developers and their end‑users. Leverage industry best practices and resources outside of K‑C to deliver front‑end technical solutions. Apply strong knowledge of business and technical functions that intersect with their expertise area. Act as a source of direction, training and guidance for other teams and members. Work independently to understand business analytics requirements and translate them into solutions that provide optimal user experience, particularly related to FOAK deliveries within business analytics. Research BI industry and vendor releases, with primary focus on front‑end reporting and analytics with strategic vendors: PowerBI, Tableau, SAP, etc. Consistently demonstrate the One K‑C Behaviors and DTS Culture Principles; maintain and evolve cultural awareness, act with global fluency, adopt a test‑and‑learn, fail‑fast mindset with calculated risk taking. Demonstrate deep learning agility, promote a learning culture, act and influence as a people leader across the organization; take personal accountability for self‑development while building and developing talent around them. Qualifications B.S., B.A. degree. Master’s degree in a related field is preferred but not required. 7–10 years of IT or analytics experience. 4–6 years delivering Business Intelligence Solutions. 4–6 years developing Data Visualization solutions that provide insights to the business. 3+ years of experience using Power BI as an Enterprise Reporting Solution. Strong technical expertise in Power BI (mandatory); expert knowledge using advanced calculations and transformations in Power BI. Additional Power Platform experience is a plus. Adept at developing, publishing and maintaining Power BI reports.
