Key Responsibilities Provide medical oversight of clinical trials and ensure compliance with SOPs, client directives, GCP and regulatory requirements. Attend and present at investigator and sponsor meetings; provide medical consultation to clients, investigators and project team members. Review and analyze serious adverse events, marketed product ICSR and periodic safety reports (PBRER, PSUR, DSUR) and other client deliverables. Monitor all safety variables of clinical studies, discuss medical concerns with principal investigators and clients, and review adverse event data. Assist in writing or reviewing clinical study reports, IND/NDA reports, safety reports, REMS, RMP, CTD modules and other regulatory documents. Manage signal detection activities, review aggregate safety reports, and support dossier maintenance and risk‑management activities. Qualifications MD or equivalent required. Active medical licensure preferred but not required. At least 2 years clinical experience in Rheumatology or Dermatology residency/fellowship and clinical practice, or 1–2 years experience in a Contract Research Organization, pharmaceutical company or as a principal investigator, or Direct experience in safety/pharmacovigilance (≈2 years). Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Therapeutic expertise across medical specialties. < decision‑making, problem‑solving, organizational and analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communication. Working knowledge of relevant safety databases (e.g., Medra). Proficiency with basic computer applications; fluent in spoken and written English. Ability to travel domestically and internationally. Physical Requirements / Work Environment Work conducted in an office environment; occasional travel to sites. Frequent stationary for 6‑8 hours per day; repetitive hand movements; light to moderate lifting (max 15‑20 lbs). Requires significant concentration and ability to multitask under stress.
