Accounting Manager Remote position (only for candidates based in Argentina or Uruguay) Key Responsibilities Lead the month‑end close process and prepare timely, accurate financial statements. Review team deliverables for compliance with US GAAP . Conduct client meetings to discuss financial performance, budgets, and KPIs. Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analyses. Maintain cash flow reports, forecasts, and financial models. Oversee A/R, A/P, billing, payroll, and inventory accounting functions. Ensure timely invoicing, vendor payments, and reconciliations. Provide financial insights to improve cash flow and operational efficiency. Optimize accounting workflows using QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Bill.com, Airbase, Expensify, Concur, Gusto, ADP and integrations with Shopify, Amazon, Stripe, PayPal . Identify automation opportunities and recommend process enhancements. Apply strong knowledge of US GAAP and best accounting practices. Support tax compliance, including sales tax, R&D credits, and 1099/W9 filings. Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred). Seasoned background in accounting, ideally from public accounting or client services. Expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and GAAP compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas). Strong communication and client relationship management skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Preferred Qualifications Experience in outsourced accounting or consulting environments. Knowledge of financial system integrations and automation tools. Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring or team supervision.
