The department provides support worldwide to the Organizations all along the value chain from exploration thru site development to production. What Role You Will Play In Our Team The Data Specialist is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines to support data integration, quality, and performance optimization. This role ensures accurate and timely delivery of data solutions, collaborates with Data Architects, and adheres to governance and security best practices. Our office is in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires and you will interact with Data engineers, BI developers, and users from all around the world. What You Will Do Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources. Implement integration solutions to consolidate data into a centralized data warehouse. Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and pipelines. Understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Execute PBIs assigned through the ADO board for timely and accurate delivery. Implement data validation and cleansing processes to ensure integrity. Follow governance and management policies to maintain security and compliance. Optimize data storage and retrieval for scalability and performance. Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines to resolve issues promptly. About You Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. Advanced English skills, verbal and written communication. Main reporting toolsets: PowerBI, Tableau, Python (using visualization library). 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data pipeline development, or related roles. Hands-on experience with ETL processes, data integration, and cloud-based data platforms (Azure preferred). Preferred Qualifications / Experience Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data pipeline tools (e.g., Databricks, Azure Data Factory). Strong problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills.
