Job Description MuleSoft, a Salesforce Company sits at the heart of convergent technology trends (SaaS, big data, APIs, microservices, etc.), and our developers tackle some of the most challenging problems in technology today. As a Software Engineer at MuleSoft you will work on a small SCRUM team to drive the development of modular, composable, and/or maintainable microservices to expose the functionality of the Anypoint Platform to customers and scale platform usage worldwide. Our teams own mission‑critical aspects of a rapidly growing, globally distributed platform, giving you significant impact and visibility across the organization. MuleSoft Software Engineers come from a wide variety of backgrounds and work across the stack, but all care about craftsmanship, are naturally curious self‑learners, and build the right solution for the long term. We are building a new product that simplifies API development; the new API Gateway provides API Management capabilities to meet developers’ and applications’ needs. If you accept this challenge, you will work with Go, Rust, Kubernetes, Envoy, and more, as part of a group creating a world‑class product. What You’ll Achieve 3 Months : Become comfortable with MuleSoft tools and processes, partner with a teammate to ramp up, consult stakeholders on best practices, and start cutting code. 12 Months : Deliver larger‑scale projects, participate in at least one major platform release, and take operational ownership of services delivered to production. What You’ll Need To Be Successful Great engineering skills, strong CS fundamentals, and elegant work. Expertise in at least one language and openness to learn others (Java, Rust, C++, Go, NodeJS). Strong sense of ownership and belief in doing things the right way. Proven track record of solving problems creatively. Fanatical pursuit of quality with appreciation for the connection between software and customer experience. Natural curiosity, ability, and desire to learn quickly.
