For this role we require you to be in the office in Coghlan, Buenos Aires, at least four days a week. We communicate regularly using video chat and Slack, and put a strong emphasis on asynchronous work so people have large chunks of uninterrupted time to focus and do deep work. You can read our internal guide on how we communicate from our website: We are looking for a Computer Vision Engineer for a hands‑on role in our Buenos Aires lab. You will be working on designing, prototyping and testing computer vision projects to improve Shiphero products and services. What will you do: Work on new computer vision pipelines on edge devices in real time. Train and fine‑tune different models to be used in our warehouses. Recollect and work on new datasets for training and testing different pipelines. Redefine Shiphero’s product Human/Device interfaces using classical and machine learning computer vision techniques. Requisites: Have a Computer Science, Engineering or Informatics degree or equivalent job experience with at least three years of professional practice with Python programming. Being familiar with Deep Learning platforms and frameworks like Pytorch, Tensorflow or similar. Have experience customizing or fine‑tuning models for specific applications and deploying them into the real world. Be familiar with one or more of the following models working in real time: YOLO, RT DETR, nanosam, or similar. Have a basic understanding of classical computer vision fundamentals. Have experience working with cameras in real time. Familiar with Linux operative systems. It would be also beneficial if you: Have Experience with C++ and CUDA. Have worked with embedded devices like NVIDIA Jetson devices. You are interested on robotics with some professional or hobbyist experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
