Required Technical and Professional Experience 3+ years of experience in backend software development Proficiency in Python or Node.js with TypeScript Experience with relational databases (SQL) Cloud experience with AWS or Azure Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitLab) Strong understanding of REST API design, MVC architecture, and backend development best practices Familiarity with GenAI APIs (e.g., Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI) Understanding of GenAI concepts: prompting, guardrails, LLMs vs. SLMs, vector embeddings Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Experience in AI projects (e.g., using TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) Experience with backend frameworks aligned with Python or Node.js (e.g., Flask, FastAPI, Express, NestJS) Knowledge of vector databases (Qdrant, Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS) for RAG solutions Familiarity with GenAI orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex) Experience with containerization and API documentation tools (e.g., Docker, OpenAPI) Exposure to full-stack development (e.g., Next.js or frontend integration) Soft Skills High adaptability to new technologies and environments Self-sufficient and solution-oriented mindset Resilience under pressure and in complex technical scenarios Consultative and proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously Creative problem-solving and lateral thinking in demanding contexts Work Environment Primarily remote work, with occasional visits to client or Kyndryl offices Preferred location: Argentina / Buenos Aires Daily communication in Spanish; technical English required for documentation and APIs About the Team You’ll join a growing technical and consultative team working closely with key client stakeholders to build their GenAI Center of Excellence. We are looking for a Junior Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to impactful projects that require strong technical foundations and collaborative spirit. In this role, you will: Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python or Node.js (TypeScript) . Work with Docker for containerization and implement basic logging/error handling. Interact with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL) and at least one NoSQL store (e.g., MongoDB/DynamoDB) at a basic level. Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and product teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions using Git and agile practices. Required Skills Up to 3 years of experience in backend development. Proficiency in Python or Node.js with TypeScript ; building RESTful services . Basic data modeling with a relational DB and familiarity with a NoSQL database. Docker fundamentals (build, run, compose) and Git usage. Currently studying or graduated from a systems-related field (exceptions may be considered). Strong collaboration and communication skills. Preferred Skills Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and simple CI/CD. Introductory experience in GenAI (e.g., LangChain/LangGraph ) and awareness of Bedrock , Vertex AI , or Azure OpenAI . Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum). Ability to interact with clients and stakeholders (customer‑facing mindset).
