Zantech is looking for a talented Cybersecurity Advisor to support our Federal Client's PMO supporting the systems and leadership within the Army portfolio.

DIBS is comprised of several key programs: Army Contract Writing System (ACWS), which is an Army wide program currently in development to establish a common software program for contract writing; Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) which is one program consisting of two components: the Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program, which provides functional services to the business enterprise and warfighting mission areas; Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), a program that is currently in sustainment and facilitates logistics transactions with the Army's Working Capital Fund (ACWF) and lastly, General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) unclassified and Sensitive Activities (SA), which support all Army appropriated funds financial transactions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Implementation and application of technologies, processes, and practices designed to protect applications, networks, devices, programs, and data from malicious attack. damage, or unauthorized access
  • Maximize the use of existing tools to correlate information and synthesize data into usable and actionable events. Identify new technologies and assess their technical and performance characteristics and conduct research related to cybersecurity technologies, practices, policies and procedures;
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and project information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences of varying position levels and provide situational awareness to facilitate better decision making by the government;
  • Provide insight into industry trends and make recommendations on future direction for the program cybersecurity systems and network defenses to provide effective incident response capabilities and usable and effective reports that address overall situational awareness:
  • Define and lead projects that support the enterprise strategy and architecture for system and application security services, mechanisms and safeguards;
  • Support other cybersecurity objectives as required, including patch and vulnerability management, network monitoring, intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, and log analysis;
  • Identify mitigating countermeasures to identified threats, vulnerabilities, and shortfalls;
  • Review and make recommendations on program-level documentation (e.g., requirements specification, system architecture, design documents, test plans, security plans, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Experience performing and/or supporting Cybersecurity activities in the Department of Defense (DoD) or federal agencies, particularly the Defense Logistics Agency;
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to create high-value deliverables, including but not limited to monthly performance reports, ad hoc reports, presentations, graphics, whitepapers and executive summaries to senior leadership;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
  • Thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, etc).
  • Review and make recommendations on program-level documentation (e.g., requirements specification, system architecture, design documents, test plans. security plans. etc.).
  • Identify mitigating countermeasures to identified threats, vulnerabilities, and shortfalls;
  • Support other cybersecurity objectives as required, including patch and vulnerability management, network monitoring, intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, and log analysis;

Required:

  • Experience with Army, other Services/DoD is preferred
  • SAP solution design and business process experience
  • Cybersecurity Management experience
  • Excellent people/advisory skills
  • Strong aggregation and presentation
  • US Citizenship and an Active Secret Clearance or higher per contract requirements.
  • Due to our contractual requirements, to be eligible for this role, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at time of hire.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6+ years of experience
