In response to its continuous growth, IÉSEG School of Management is looking for a part-time Professor of Practice in Strategy at the Assistant, Senior or Principal Professor level (Lille or Paris Campus, starting September 2025). He/She/They will be a part of the Management & Society Department.
ABOUT IÉSEG SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT
IÉSEG holds the “triple crown” of international accreditations (AACSB, AMBA & EQUIS) and is a member of the “Conférence des Grandes Écoles”. The School offers Bachelor, Master and Post-Graduate Degrees as well as Executive Education programs. IÉSEG is also one of the leading French business schools in terms of research. The IÉSEG Research Center is accredited by the French CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research). Our Lille Campus is in the heart of Northern France (within the triangle made up by London, Paris and Brussels), and our Paris Campus is located in the biggest European business district of “La Défense”. ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The department of “Management & Society” consists of over 30 full-time academic staff in the areas of Corporate Sustainability, Business and Society, Organization Studies and Strategic Management. The Department explicitly welcomes cross-disciplinary research efforts needed to address the challenges currently faced by both for-profit and non-profit organizations, their stakeholders and the communities in which they operate.
The Management & Society Department operates in line with the vision of the School to be “a unique international hub empowering changemakers for a better society”. The Department aims to be a source of inspiration in the development of sound and responsible business practices, and a source of diffusion of creative knowledge and solutions. Current faculty members from the Management & Society Department have been successful in publishing articles in top-tier refereed journals including the Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Discoveries, Academy of Management Annals, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Business Venturing, Industrial and Corporate Change, Organization Science, and Organization Studies.

ABOUT THE POSITION
Teaching will be the main focus of the selected candidate by teaching courses in Strategy at the undergraduate, graduate and/or postgraduate level. In addition, he/she/they will contribute to the development of the Department’s programs. As such, we are looking for candidates with strong teaching skills, and who are fluent in English, as most courses are taught in this language.
Professional experience in the area of strategy and strategic consulting is required, as we are particularly seeking candidates who can contribute to the school's development and to its students through their practical expertise.
Although not required, active working knowledge of French is considered an asset. For this position, the ability and willingness to interact with managers and the local (and international) ecosystems are indeed valued.
